What to Expect at NWIH Physical Rehab

Physical Rehabilitation focusses on function through improvement of strength, endurance and most importantly, quality of movement. Each physical rehabilitation program is custom made for each individual. Patients are first evaluated to determine the exact reason or condition that is causing the reported symptoms, usually by one of the physicians. A plan is formulated taking into account the patient’s goals and current level of ability. Once the patient feels comfortable with each movement or strength exercise more will be added to help you achieve your optimum level of function.
